Hot Ten - Top Places I've Visited Thus Far

10. Tokyo, Japan
  • Normally, this would be ranked higher, but when I was compiling this list, I had so many other great places that I wanted to add that Tokyo just sort of fell to 10.
9. San Francisco, CA
  • I don't dig the one way streets or the traffic, but the scenery is just awesome and there's so much to do there. For some reason, SF reminds me of Liberty City from Grand Theft Auto 3, with Chinatown and the Italian district, the Wharf, the upper class neighborhoods. And the rain and gloom. * Tip - Enter code ilovescotland in the PC game to make it rain.
8. Moscow, Russia
  • It was really cold and it rained every day but I think the reason why Moscow rocked was cuz up to that point I had never been to a place where my life was in more danger than here. The building we stayed in had a huge crack running down the middle of it, the tap waster in the morning was rusted and riding back in a taxi, a lightning bolt shot down onto the street about half a mile ahead of us. That was crazy, frightening and cool.
7. Ensenada, Mexico
  • This destination was part of a cruise I took. Great memories from this trip. Where else can you come back from a trip with a massive hangover and a ninja star as a souvenir?
6. Blackpool, England
  • I spent over two weeks in England so I got to see a lot of places where my family grew up. This was one of those places I went, along with my then girlfriend and her dad's band who was performing that night at a small club. The amusement park on the coast there was pretty cool too.
5. Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Do I really need to expand on this? It's Vegas. Nuff said.
4. New York, New York
  • First time I ever saw the Giants play and the Yankees roll. New York is a helluva town.
3. Hakone, Japan
  • This place ranks high cuz it was the first place I ever went that had snow. Doesn't sound like much, but when you think back, it's one of those precious memories.
2. London, England
  • London was another spot I got to go to. There's just sooo much to do in this city. I remember when I went that I said that I could stay in the city for a month and still have a ton of things I wanted to see and places to go. I definitely will be going back to London one of these days!
1. Yokohama, Japan
  • Yokohama ranks #1 for me since it's the place where the Japanese side of my family lived. (They're all dead now.) But I have such fond childhood memories of Yokohama and a little bit southwest, Kawasaki, that I will carry to the grave.
